Well Then...
I had not realized that I had not updated since July. Oh dear.
Well, I have a good reason for it! I have been in Japan since August 31! And what an amazing experience I'm having! I've been travelling for the past few months while taking classes at the university I'm on exchange to, and I actually just got back from a vacation (not like this whole year isn't a vacation!) in Singapore, where I explored again and met up with an old roommate!
I have been reading alot the past few days, because I've been on night buses to Tokyo and a six hour flight to Singapore was the perfect amount of time to read the first Sookie Stackhouse novel by Charlained Harris. And Singapore had books in English! So, now sitting by my head and waiting for me to read them are:
Merchant of Venice, Othello, and King Lear by Shakespeare, The Canterbury Tales by Chaucer, a compilation of Virginia Woolf, The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Nieffeneger, the fifth Sookie Stackhouse, and a couple other books.
I miss my English studies. Oh well...I will be back to them soon enough.
Now if only all of this reading provoked some more writing, life would be good!
Hope all is well, and I will try to post more frequently. At least writing on my blog would be something.
